We, Tom & Carol Lee, opened our hardware store in October 1977 and called it Brackendowns Hardware & Garden Centre Pty Ltd.

It was a brand new shop in a brand new Shopping Centre in a brand new suburb of Alberton: very exciting and daunting for a young couple.

Little did we know that they we going to spend almost a lifetime in our shop creating wonderful memories and forging many relationships and friendships throughout the years.

Our customers’ needs have always been our priority and we always give 100% to our business and customers.
Our experienced staff members are available to give sound advice and a friendly greeting every time you visit us.
